Manitou have been long known for building highly capable and long lasting rough terrain forklifts, telescopic handlers and access machines but less known for industrial forklifts. Several years ago Manitou fully redeveloped it’s Industrial counterbalance internal combustion range from the ground up with a focus on quality and practicality.
The result is the MI or Manitou Industrial range of machines with capacities from 1.5 tons to 10 tons available with LPG or Diesel power plants. Key to the success of the MI range is the strongly contested 1.5 to 3.5 ton capacities where the MI stacks up strongly against the opposition products and is head and shoulders above many of the units in the market.
Manitou have taken their usual no nonsense approach that has worked well for them in the rest of the Manitou equipment portfolio – All the things that you need and nothing that you don’t, preferring to provide equipment to get the job done over frills.
