Get to know – Michael Adamson

I look after the Northern Markets which includes the Kimberly, Pilbara, Gascoyne and Mid-West. I support and promote our earthmoving brands which include Kobelco. I’ve been in this role and with LiftRite for about seven months.

Best part of the job?

I really like the versatility of the job and meeting new people from different walks of life. My work day sees me meeting lots of diverse people from admin staff right through to CEOs of businesses.

I find the relationships I have with my customers are really rewarding. I used to work in customer service for a large retail chain but the interaction with customers was really short-lived. In my role here I get to form long relationships with my customers. I feel like part of the family.

I also like being accountable for my own work and setting my own set of goals to work towards. It’s a really rewarding job and I get lots of support from my managers here at LiftRite.

If you weren’t part of the LiftRite team, what would you be doing?

I’ve always liked customer service so I’m sure it would be somewhere in that industry.

What do you do in your spare time?

My wife Mel and I have two-year-old golden retriever, Milo, so we love taking him out for walks and we love playing with our bunny, Cotton.

I also like going to the gym and playing video games. My brother is a “twitch streamer” so I am giving him a hand moderating the community and supporting him with that.
